Grenache Blanc is the white counterpart to the better-known: Grenache. Just as Grenache is also known as Garnacha, this is also known as Garnacha Blanca. Historically it is best known as one of the under-rated Rhone Valley white grapes that can be used in the white blends of the Southern Rhone. As such you will also find it across Southern France in similar aromatic white blends. In the new world you can spot it in blends or as a single varietal where it brings bright flavours of passionfruit, honey, lemons and almonds to the resulting wines.
